Vice Chairperson
Sheila was born and raised in Evanston, where she lives with her husband and has raised their three children. She works as the assistant director at Uinta BOCES #1, where she has also taught adult education classes and managed grant-funded programs that provide work training and education to low-income parents. She also is currently enrolled in a doctoral program through University of Wyoming Outreach. In addition to work, she has been actively involved in Evanston Rotary, the Evanston Jumpstart board, the Wyoming Lifelong Learning Association board, the Evanston Women’s Conference board, PTA at local schools and as state PTA president, was regional commissioner for the Evanston AYSO youth soccer program, and has volunteered with the Evanston Urban Renewal Ball and other local activities.
When not working, Sheila has also been known as Soccer Mom, Dance Mom, Speech and Debate Mom, Music Mom, and Drama Mama, supporting her kids’ activities, which keep her busy and bring her an immense amount of joy and pride. She and her family love attending concerts, live theater, and sporting events; traveling and road-tripping; board games, and movies. Every once in a great while, she and her husband Brian even get a date night!
