A healthy relationship doesn’t drag you down. It inspires you to be BETTER! 

Developing healthy relationships is just the same. Nurture and grow the good in each other and in your relationship. Look for all the ways in which your relationship works, and focus on those.

Do more of what works, and less of what doesn’t.  Practice celebrating each other and your relationship by noticing even small opportunities to say “thank you.” Explore other’s interests and try new things together. Establish a pattern of mutual respect and accountability!

  2. Listen to your friends.
  3. Ditch the judgment.
  4. Don’t talk behind a friend’s back.
  5. Respect your friends — and their boundaries.
  6. Forgive where you can — and seek forgiveness when you screw up.
