Summer Employment Success – 2023

T. was a good employee this year. He took what he learned last year and hit the ground running and helped the other kids learn the ropes.

I was able to learn many things like how to do cleaning jobs around the area and I got paid well with the hours that I have worked every day even if there weren't very many hours. I did a lot of cleaning outside and making the area look clean and I even cleaned around the office and got to meet some of the people that worked there and they liked me a lot.

It was pretty easy for me for the most part, other than I hurt my shoulder working with the shovel. the first day i was a little late but i was able to correct that pretty quickly, i was able to follow directions very clearly and do what i was asked.

She does well. It's hard for her to talk to people and have that interaction. I think it was good to be here with all of us and most would try and correspond with her. Minimal on her part but that's ok. Yes, H. was always here if she said she would be. She would do what she was asked each day. For the most part.

He likes being outside and likes physical moving around. He enjoyed the teachers/ supervisors and being able to work with some of his friends.

I got to make some of my own money and have a job every day I knew I'd be busy at I worked hard to show up almost every day

H. enjoyed this work experience. She liked the people she worked with and didn't mind the work. She did wish she had more hours but it was probably the nature of the job with the staff having various responsibilities outside of the office.

N. showed up on time along with the helper that he had with him. Depending on the assignment, he either worked extremely hard or had to be prompted. He completed all the tasks he was given.
