Chris Adams hails from Grand Island, NE. He has a passion for music and loved playing trombone in concert and marching bands in high school and college. Graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in Spanish Secondary Education, with minors in Music and Math, He taught at a bilingual middle school in Cincinnati, OH. His professional career spans over 30 years and has taken him all across the US before coming to Union Wireless as a trainer. His bucket list is to eventually visit all 50 states (he’s at 41!).
Chris married his college sweetheart, Eppie, in Chicago, IL and together they’ve raised two now adult sons: Josef, who is pursuing a career in accounting, and Nathaniel, who wants to fly helicopters in the military. Their greatest passion as parents was molding children to respect others regardless of race, background, identity, or beliefs. They’ve also enjoyed visiting peoples and places throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and Spain, where he once served a mission for his Church as a young adult. His accomplishments are considerable, given that he’s had a moderate/severe hearing loss since birth. Chris and Eppie love Evanston and have both discovered ways to contribute their talents and skills to the community.
