As Executive Director of Disability
Wanda established the state-wide youth initiative, NextGen Mentoring. Through the program, youth with disabilities spend time with employers. The youth also job shadow, explore a variety of careers, and participate in summer internships.
For over 25 years, Wanda Rogers has worked in the field of disability and diversity. She became an advocate as a result of having a child with Down Syndrome. Wanda devotes herself to advocating for people with disabilities. She believes in providing them the education and skills to move forward. As part of her advocacy, Wanda also serves on local and statewide boards.
Wanda not only operates D:I-UCW, she also devotes time to her family and community. She resides in Evanston, WY with her husband, Rick. When not at work or home, she enjoys Wyoming’s outdoor adventures.
